Hi, I'm Aaron (he/him)
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the performing arts. My passion for creative collaboration and deep curiosity about the human condition inform my therapy practice. I'm particularly interested in attachment theory and how our own attachment patterns influence our adult relationships, how we parent our children and how we feel about ourselves in the world.
I offer a warm, creative, down-to-earth approach that is client-focused. I don't see myself as an expert or someone with all the answers but more of a collaborative guide. This work is hard, but it can also be fun. I believe in finding humour in the most challenging of times and these are challenging times!

I aim to help clients bring awareness to their patterns of thoughts and feelings. I encourage clients to talk about their experiences and listen with acceptance, curiosity and empathy. Together, we explore the power of their significant relationships, both past and present in shaping their view of themselves and the world around them.
I work from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive framework that acknowledges the client's intersectionality (class, gender, race, sexual orientation, etc) and that explores how society impacts the client(s) experience.
Everyone is welcome in my practice.
I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), the Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists (OSRP) and the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA).
